TIGER GRANT - COMPLIANCE
NCCMAC was one of more than 1400 applicants in 50 states requests for funding supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s TIGER (Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery) Grant program. The TIGER Grant program is aimed at improving sustainability and transportation in rural and urban communities around the country.
The NCC Valley Project meets TIGER grant criteria by:
- Alleviating environmental problems and resolving major superfund issues
- Providing immediate economic stimulus by having actual physical construction underway in early 2010,
