The North Clear Creek Corridor Highway Safety Improvement and Environmental Mitigation Project is a great example of how several agencies can work together to accomplish numerous goals quickly and efficiently. From using excess rock and dirt from road construction to prepare the site for the treatment plant and to stabilize mine tailings, the agencies involved in this project are saving time and money through a collaborative approach. Each facet of this project will need to be done at some point, thus by pooling efforts and resources the project will be accomplished in a more effective and streamlined manner.
